White Campion
White petaled flowers with a large bulb like inflated calyx behind the flower. The plant can grow up to 3 feet tall and produce several flowers. The male and female flowers have slight variations. The female has thin curled stamens and the male has an extra white “skirt” around the center of the flower.
This non-native species is found on roadsides and disturbed areas.
