Mountain Ball Cactus

Look for this adorable cactus in dry, open areas of sagebrush or pinyon trees. It can grow at a wide range of elevations and up to 11K feet! This cactus is noticeable because it is almost perfectly round and grow singly or in tightly packed groups. Flowers grow at the top of the cactus and can be white, yellow or pinkish.
